Ring inner diameter
The distance straight across the inside of a ring, edge to edge.
Inner diameter is the easiest way to size a ring you already own: measure straight across the inside of the ring in millimetres.
US ring sizes go up by about 0.8 mm of diameter per full size. A US size 7 has an inner diameter of about 17.3 mm.
