The copy-paste problem

Most stores repeat the same content across many size charts: measuring instructions, contact details, return policy notes. Copying it into every chart works until something changes. Then you have to open every chart, edit the same text, and hope you didn't miss one.

How reusable blocks fix it

A reusable block is a master block. You create it once and attach it to as many size charts as you like. When you edit the reusable block, every chart that uses it updates automatically.

Common uses

  • Measuring guides: an image and steps explaining how to measure, shared by all your tops or bottoms charts.
  • Contact info: your support hours, email and phone number at the bottom of every chart.
  • Seasonal messages: a banner at the top of your charts that you change once when a promotion starts or ends.
  • Sizing disclaimers: fabric or care notes worded the same way everywhere.

How it works

  1. Open the Reusable Blocks tab in Jotly and create a block. Add text, images, videos or tables, just like a normal chart.
  2. In any size chart, add the Attach reusable block block and pick your reusable block.
  3. Edit the reusable block whenever you need to. Every chart using it shows the change.
